What was the condition you were suffering from?
I first discovered I was suffering from breast cancer in 2002, 21 months ago. It was such a shock, for days I felt like a "sleep walker". I had the feeling that it was happening to someone else and I was just watching a movie which would soon end.
What was the effect of the diagnosis upon you?
I had only days to prepare for the operation and learn everything there is about cancer. It was an information overload. I had to keep a cool head and absorb all the relevant articles, suggestions, different therapies, pamphlets, advice, phone calls, internet researches etc… I was told by my oncologist that the odds for survival were slim:
An operation: 55%
Chemotherapy: 10%
Radiotherapy: 9%
Hormontherapy: 5%
This was unacceptable to me. I realised it was time to take over control of the my most precious commodity, my life and do everything possible to fight this terrible disease I had to find a way to increase my chances of survival. I was told of many different alternatives, complementary products and healing procedures. I carefully studied all of them, but I wasn't convinced about any of them.
How did Avemar help you?
My relatives in Hungary informed me about a new complementary therapy made of wheat germ, called Avemar. I immediately started a wide scale research on the Internet. There was plenty of information about Avemar all around, clinical studies, publishing's from peer-reviewed medical journals and other studies. I read a report from the Bureau of Statistics in Hungary that for the first time ever in their medical history the death rate from cancer dropped in the year 2000 the first year after Avemar was available on the market.
I decided to ask our relatives to send Avemar tome. I started to take Avemar 5 days after the operation after consulting my oncologist. He said there was nothing in it that would interfere with the conventional Chemotherapy treatment. The treatment I chose was the short 3-month intensive one.
I wanted to be over and done with as soon as possible.
I had the opportunity to observe the other (approximately dozen patients) in the ward with me. It seemed to me that compared to them I had a relatively easy ride whilst taking Avemar. I was a lot stronger than the others and did not experience any of the harsh side effects from the "poison" therapy and even my blood count was back to normal a lot sooner than was expected.
The Chemotherapy was followed by the “burn" therapy and the hormone therapy with Tamoxifen, which I am still taking 23 months later.
I have received confirmation from the scientists of Avemar that they have obtained excellent results with women taking Tamoxifen together with Avemar. My experience has been the same as I am free of any side effects of the Tamxifen.
I am still on Avemar , having just started the 21st monthly supply and I wantto take it for the rest of my life.
At the time of the operation they took out 7 lymphnodes and unfortunately 3 of them were already affected by the cancerous cells. Avemar has a proven antimetastatic effect which means that it doesn't allow the primary tumor to spread around the body.
I have just had the first yearly check up for secondary cancer and I have received the "all clear". I cannot describe the happiness I have felt at this moment.
Avemar, the name is short for Ave Maria the old Christian prayer, has definitely helped us along with thousands from Hungary and across Europe.
