About Avemar®

Avemar is a biologically complex extract which shows multiple biological actions. Benzoquinones along with other substances are isolated and extracted in a world patented process to produce the fermented wheat germ extract. This natural food source contains one of the highest sources of benzoquinones.

Avemar is derived solely from wheat germ (botanical name: Triticum vulgaris) and is available in sachets which are easily dissolved in water to make a palatable drink.

Avemar was invented in Hungary, where it is still manufactured. It is available in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, the US, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Israel, Cyprus, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong.

Avemar® Safety

Avemar is a natural product processed by fermentation in a GMP [Good Manufacturing Practice] facility in Hungary. Safety data denotes that animal toxicological studies were not able to find the LD50 [rats, mice, rabbits]. In April 2005 in the US, the GRAS [Generally Recommended as Safe] status of Avemar® was reported on by J Heinbach LLC, Washington DC. The 161 page document duplicates the previous Hungarian results.
